Jared turns 3

Jared requested a yellow cake with strawberry filling, white frosting, 3 blue candles and Spiderman on top. This is how it turned out.

He placed the candles himself!

Mommy, Daddy and brothers got Jared a Jeep!   He was super excited to have something of his own to drive.

Tired boy!

Jared isn't into naps anymore, but this week tired him out.  He fell asleep on the couch and slept like that for 2 hours while Jacob, Luke, and Mommy cleaned around him.  He didn't even wake up when Jacob vacuumed the downstairs!

Jared has been WITHOUT a pacifier for 2 weeks. Yay!!!

2 weeks old - 9-9-2012

Matthew had his 2 week appointment on Friday.  He has grown!  He now weighs 9 lbs 1oz (66%), and is 21 1/4 inches long (76%).  Definitely the biggest of all our boys!  For now we are going to watch the bump on his head for growth and reevaluate at his 2 month check-up. It still could be a bruise from birth and go away on its own.  Time will tell!

It is hard to believe that you are already a big 2 year old boy who is potty trained and talking up a storm.  All Jared kept talking about was that he wanted blue cupcakes, a hat, balloons and a present for his birthday.  Even though we were sick leading up to this day, we still managed to get together all his birthday requirements.  Thank you to all the family that called and Skyped to wish this little guy a good day.
